Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and Rishte Bandhan when you use our Jain Matrimony platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Rishte Bandhan ("the Platform"), operated by RB Tech Services ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a binding contract to register on Rishte Bandhan. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are creating a profile for yourself, or with the explicit knowledge and consent of the individual whose profile it is (for example, a parent creating a profile for their adult child with that child's consent).

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide a valid email address and mobile number, and verify your email via OTP before your account is activated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or impersonated information.

4. Membership & Payment

  • Certain features, including viewing contact details, require an active paid membership plan. Plan pricing, validity, and contact-unlock limits are displayed before purchase, exclusive of applicable GST, which is calculated and shown separately at checkout.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms in addition to ours.
  • Membership benefits are personal to your account and may not be transferred, shared, or resold.
  • Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create fake, duplicate, or impersonated profiles, or misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, or any material fact.
  • Upload photos that are not genuinely of the profile owner, that are obscene, offensive, or that infringe another person's rights.
  • Harass, threaten, defraud, or solicit money from other members.
  • Use the Platform for any commercial solicitation, advertising, or purpose unrelated to seeking a matrimonial match.
  • Attempt to bypass photo privacy controls, scrape data, or access accounts that are not your own.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Platform.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

6. Photo & Content Guidelines

All uploaded photos are subject to admin review before becoming visible to other users. We may reject photos that are not clear headshots or portraits of the profile owner, that include other identifiable individuals without consent, that are low quality, or that otherwise violate these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you upload, but grant us a limited license to host, display, and process it for the purpose of operating the Platform, consistent with the visibility settings you choose.

7. Reporting, Blocking & Moderation

You may report or block any profile that violates these Terms or makes you uncomfortable. We review reports and may suspend or remove profiles found to be in violation. We are not obligated to take any specific action on a report, though we aim to review all reports promptly.

8. Intellectual Property

The Rishte Bandhan name, logo, design, and platform software are the property of RB Tech Services and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

9. No Guarantee of Match

Rishte Bandhan is a platform that facilitates introductions between members based on the information and preferences you provide. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, and we do not verify every claim made by members beyond our stated verification processes (email OTP, admin photo review). You are responsible for exercising your own judgment, including independently verifying details of any match before proceeding with a marriage decision.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rishte Bandhan and RB Tech Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to interactions with other members, decisions made based on information found on the Platform, or service interruptions.

11. Termination

You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, at our discretion, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the reason where practical.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our registered business address.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
